Communicate and Connect
The Dooferbook is a site built for the fighter pilot community to help old friends and squadron mates reconnect. There are several built-in tools which accomplish this, all of which help members to communicate and connect. Once you join, you can build your own unique URL profile page and upload photos and video. Through member input and participation, the Doofer Book will ultimately become what the we as members make it.
Spreading the Word: This site is what its name suggests-- a modernized 21st century version of the old squadron "Doofer Book." Instead of using old (but tried and true!) methods like cutting and pasting into an antiquated ledger book, this Doofer Book takes on many mediums. You can create your own entries via our blog component, link stories of interest you find around the web, upload photos and share videos, or throw written daggers on your blog or on others' blogs using the commenting system. There is also a private messaging and email feature to allow discrete communication between members.
Most importantly, there is no adult supervision! No one to call you on the carpet because of something you wrote that wasn't appreciated by the higher-ups, and no more squadron "Doofergate" scandals! Col. Freilino can go fuck himself!!!
The Doofer Book has officially gone global, and exposing incidents of blatant buffoonery, supreme idiocy and general douchery to the outside world is now in your hands! Please feel free to use the invite component to help spread the word about this dynamic new site!
